It is known that around 400 years ago, there was a temple of Mahadevji.  Then Shri Bapuji Mahasukhram, son of Shri Mahasukhram Malakchandra Pranvallabh who belonged to Sathodra Nagar Brahmin “Gruhastha”, gave a distinct appearance to the said Dholeshwar Mahadev temple. The temple was then worshipped strictly by the members of the family. The temple was not open to the general public. Shri Bapuji Mahasukhram was the father-in-law of Raobahadur Ranchhodlal Chhotalal who was the founder of the first cotton cloth Mill (factory) on our ever pious and prosperous soil of Gujarat. And it is believed that the same Shri Bapuji had established the idol for Shri Chamakarik Hanumanji in this temple. Since that day, there has always been peace and power in the Desai Pol which is considered unshakable till date.

It is known that during the time of British Raj in India, when the rules and regulations for acquiring Visa for USA and England were already very strict, the Deity of Shri Hanuman Dada started to show its miracle and power.

Many of worshippers like Tusharbhai, Udayanbhai, Anilbhai, Mukeshbhai, Rekhaben, Pritiben, Namrataben, Dilipbhai, Nitaben  and many more have come to Shri Hanumanji with their prayers and appeals for their works which were not getting anywhere near success. Their jobs got done due to their patient worship of Shri Hanumanji. People continued to get Visas without any difficulties from there on. As their success stories of Hanuman Dada’s blessings became known to the world, people from all over India came to the Lord with their Passport, Visa files/letters and sought his blessings for their issues in Visa. Remarkably, Shri Hanumanji continued to shower his mercy on the people who went to him in total faith.

A large number of people in India make it a point to begin their Visa work and documentation only after visiting Shri Hanumanji and offering the documents at his feet. They visit every Saturdays before going to any foreign Embassy to offer Puja and Prasad without fail.  And THEIR WISHES HAVE COME TRUE, THANKS TO Shri Hanumanji.

In fact, apart from Visa work, prospective matrimonial matches have also resulted into a success with his blessings. Similar is the case with people wishing success in business and occupation.

This great temple is located in one of the largest and oldest cities of India i.e. Ahmedabad. Shri Hanumanji Dada’s temple is situated in 1832, Desai Pol in the area called Khadia Opp R.B.R.C Girls High School, near Panchkuva Darwaja and Sarangpur Darwaja. Along with Shri Hanumaniji Dada, one also finds the very ancient and beautiful temple of Dholeshwar  Mahadev.

The temple timings are as follows:
Daily: Morning: 7 AM to 12 PM
Evening: 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Saturday: 7 AM to 10 PM. 

Puja and Aarti are done during these timings. Drinking water facility is available and there is a Manager and a Pujari who are eager to help and answer all queries.
