Viral Message Verification:- Six children and one teacher from Max Muller High School, Basaveshwaranagar, were injured during their annual day celebrations on B.R. Ambedkar grounds in Kamakshipalya here on Saturday night, when an iron pillar with LED bulbs collapsed on the makeshift stage.
However the news being spread on the social media regarding the death of many children’s is fake.
The children were about to enter the stage when the pillar fell. “It was a miraculous escape. Had the children been on stage, it would have been fatal,” said a police official.
Eight persons, including teachers Krishna Murthy and Pinky, were injured, but all of them are said to be out of danger.
