Facts Check Analysis: The news started after Thomson Reuters Foundation survey published this report and ranked India as the world’s most dangerous country for women. Only god knows how they came to this conclusion.  Based on the company survey of 2011.

Rahul Gandhi left no opportunity on this occasion to comment against India and the BJP government. He tweeted in the sync

However this was refuted by the the National Commission for Women (NCW), saying that the report represented a sample size was small and not representative of the country.  It looks like Thomson Reuters Foundation, have no other source to publicize its content and itself.

Acting Chairperson of the National Commission for Women Rekha Sharma rejected the survey report, saying the sample size was small and could not be representative of the whole country, PTI reported.

The Maneka Gandhi-led Ministry of Women and Child Development also rejected the findings of the survey, according to NDTV.

So indeed the report is fake and cannot be trusted.
