India: P Chidambaram and Karti Chidambaram who has been accused in the Aircel Maxis scam, targeted the ED official Rajeshwar Singh, as said by Rajeshwar Singh himself to republic TV.

P Chidamabaram and his son have definitely tried their best to stop the investigations in the Aircel Maxis scam which would otherwise lead to imprisonment for the amount they have taken and misused the office of the Finance Ministry.

In his letter, Rajeshwar Singh says ‘’Mr. P Chidambaram made my life an accentuated hell as I was investigating him and his son Karthi. An attempt was made to remove me from the investigations… Mr Chidambaram sported an open and direct grudge against the undersigned.”

Rajeshwar Singh also accused his boss for siding with corrupts and scamsters and targeting him on every step. ‘’What thoroughly baffles the undersigned, is the animosity you have fashioned against me by siding with scamsters and their affiliates in a sustained manner. It has become more than difficult for me to survive this continued onslaught and persistent vilification from all the quarters for doing my job,’’ said the top ED officer. Republic TV

A PIL was filed in the Supreme Court against the ED official seeking a probe against him. The Supreme Court after reviewing the PIL case did not take any action against Officer Rajeshwar Singh and dismissed the case and instead ordered the central government to verify the letters which was submitted to the court against the ED official.

Rajeshwar Singh has been investigating the Aircel Maxis scam for which he was apparently targeted by few powerful people.

Dr Subramanian Swamy who is following the Aircel Maxis scam tweeted “BJP government at Centre judging by today proceedings on Aircel Maxis in SC is under internal sabotage. Have to find out who is where in the coming Mahabharata”
