In this modern age of technology, everyone tries to learn new things to have an edge over the competitors without which it would be quite difficult to survive. Due to this reason, learning has to become a fun based activity instead of mere cramming of information which would turn learning into a boring exercise. Here are some ways in which augmented reality helps in imparting lessons to knowledge seekers around the world:

Presenting the curriculum in an eye popping manner

By adding pictures, graphics and videos packed with edutaining (education and entertainment combined) content and so on, one could deliver lectures in a way that gets the undivided attention of learner. For instance a teacher of biology could teach the workings of the human heart or Flora and Fauna using 3D animated models which would excite the students to learn more.

By imparting lessons in an interactive manner would help in better involvement with learners stepping in by accessing different models of learning concepts in the best way possible through simulation. By involving learners, it would help them to take their learning to the next level.

Augmented models ranging from a large superstructure to a tiny molecule could be accessed by students in the form of simple scans, In addition to this, students could access different websites while viewing an augmented model for further details on a topic like the Types of Soil which would deepen the knowledge base of students. Knowledge acquired in this manner would remain in the memory of students for a long time

Boosts curiosity for learning

The new style of learning (virtually) would stimulate students to learn more by making the lessons more interactive and appealing to the students.  Learners would be motivated to sharpen their critical thinking skills and get excited about things that happen around them.
