The centre may have only M.Phil and Ph.D students (initially). After five years, the centre may start MA programme.

However as per JNU professor Ajay Dubey, who chairs the committee in charge of setting up CNSS said, “There is no plan to introduce a course on Islamist terrorism under the CNSS. I don’t know why PTI published this news; I have always denied the news; it’s completely fake”.
