Detailed Analysis: It was all over the social media when Mamata Banerjee the West Bengal CM lashed out at Karnataka DIG Neelamani Raju as she came to Karnataka Vidhana Soudha for oath taking ceremony because reportedly had to walk a few metres, she also expressed discontentment to HD Deve Gowda & HD Kumaraswamy. Mamata was forced to walk a short distance to reach the Vidhana Soudha (state assembly) for the swearing-in, as a number of vehicles blocked the route to the venue. The Karnataka DGP, who had a run-in with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been transferred. Sources claim that the transfer happened because the DGP, Neelamani Raju, who also happens to be the state's first woman DGP, 'insulted' Banerjee by making her walk a kilometre to Vidan Sauda during the swearing in of Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy.

 

However other news media were not sure of her transfer. Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP), Neelamani Raju, has refuted reports of her transfer by the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) government after a complaint by Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, The News Minute has reported.
