A message was viral on Facebook among congress supporters stating that white house has published an album of fifty most honest political leaders in which Manmohan Singh tops the chart.

 “भारत के लिए गर्व की बात। अमेरिका ने व्हाइट हाऊस से जारी एल्बम में 50 ईमानदार नेताओं में भारत के एक मात्र नेता डॉ मनमोहन सिंह पहले स्थान पर हैं । शत शत प्रणाम श्री मनमोहन सिंह जी को।” (Translation: A proud moment for India. The news originated from this message shared on the Facebook page of ViralInIndia.net which is run by Abhishek Mishra the image accompanied with the message had a watermark of ViralInIndia.net; The news circulated most among the congress supporters as the other version of the message explains that Manmohan Singh tops the album of 50 most honest political leaders published by White house whereas Narendra Modi does not even exist in the list. Currently the fake news is shared among the users of Rahul Gandhi Next PM 2019, a facebook group created for the congress supporters.

The story behind the message goes back to December 2016 when President Barack Obama hosted the 14th and his final formal State Arrival Ceremony and State Dinner. On the occasion, Chief White House photographer shared glimpses from some of the other state dinners hosted by President Obama over the tenure of his presidency. The photo series began with the photograph of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur being escorted by the Obamas and the collection did not contain any photo of Narendra Modi. 

The Pictures were the collection from different state dinner hosted by President Barack Obama during his presidency tenure and not from album of 50 most honest political leaders published by White House, thus the news was Fake.
