The 1984 anti-Sikh riots, also known as the 1984 Sikh Massacre, was a series of organised pogroms against Sikhs in India by anti-Sikh mobs (notably Congress Party members and temporarily released convicts) in response to the assassination of Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards. The riots happened during the regime of the Congress party so the blame goes mostly to the Congress party as pointed by many. Malviya shared the video with a text calling out the Congress for the complicity of its leaders and workers in the horrific riots that took more than 3000 lives.
