A video is going viral on social media. In which a group of some people carrying saffron flags is moving towards the dargah.

News Claim: A video is going viral on social media. In which a group of some people carrying saffron flags is moving towards the dargah. This video is being viral in the context of recent violence in Karauli and JNU campus. In the viral video, some people wearing saffron clothes are seen walking towards a mosque. The same people are chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' and playing music on loudspeakers.

News Verification: The viral claim has turned out to be false. We searched this incident on Google with many keywords including Luthra Sharif Dargah. We got a news from Dainik Bhaskar. In which it was written about this rally held in Bilaspur on 2 April 2022. The rally was organized on the occasion of Hindu New Year. In which written about the events held in the city. But it was not written anywhere in that news that any dargah was targeted by the mob.

We found a tweet by The Quint's journalist, Vishnukant Tiwari, in which he has shared the correct information about the confusion being spread about this viral video. He wrote that, this video in front of Luthra Sharif of Chhattisgarh is being presented with the wrong context. The rally came out in front of the dargah, the rally and the DJ made a U-turn from there and people went home without any debate while doing their work.Journalist, Vishnukant Tiwari said in the next tweet that, Sipat police station in-charge Rajkumar Souri has confirmed all the above mentioned things, as well as Muslim journalists of the area have also denied any situation of dispute. This clearly shows that the claims being made with the viral video have been proved wrong.

News Verdict ayupp.com: The viral news on hundreds of Hindu men have targeted Muslim dargahs is false.
