News Verification: The photo is widely viral on social media and highly forwarded on WhatsApp. The image is not real but a satire edited picture attributing to the New York Times. There is no iota of truth in the fake news claim.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 25 (IST) left for India from New York after concluding his three-day visit. During his visit, PM Modi met President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and top CEOs of US, in Washington DC. PM Modi also attended the first in-person Quad Leaders' Summit. He addressed the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York in the last leg of his visit.
As per the investigation, it is found that the image was created for the purpose of satire.
