आता ही घटना सविस्तर जाणून घेऊया. एका सरकारी शाळेच्या बाहेर हातात वाटी घेऊन ही मुलगी केवळ मध्यान्ह भोजनातील उरलेलं अन्न खाण्याच्या अपेक्षेने उभी होती. तिचा हा फोटा सोशल मीडियावर मोठ्या प्रमाणात व्हायरल झाला. या फोटोने अनेकांच्या हृदयाला हात घातला. एका व्यक्तीच्या तर इतका की त्याने या चिमुकलीला त्याच शाळेत प्रवेश घेऊन दिला, जेणेकरुन तिला दररोज मध्यान्ह भोजन व शिक्षण मिळावं.

हा फोटो एका तेलगु वृत्तपत्रात प्रसिद्ध झाला होता. ‘आकाली चोपू’या मथळ्याखाली हा फोटो प्रसिद्ध झाला होता. याचा अर्थ, भूकेल्या नजरेने एकटक पाहणं. हैदराबादच्या देवल झाम सिंह या सरकारी शाळेतील हा फोटो असून दिव्या असं या चिमुकलीचं नाव आहे. ती या शाळेत शिकत नाही, पण दररोज शाळेत येते. शिकण्यासाठी नव्हे तर शाळेत दररोज मिळणाऱ्या मध्यान्ह भोजनातील उरलेलं अन्न आपल्याला खावयास मिळेल आणि पोट भरेल या एकाच आशेने. दिव्याचे आई-वडिल शाळेजवळीलच झोपडपट्टीत राहतात. कचरा उचलण्याचं आणि साफ-सफाईचं काम ते करतात. आई-वडिल कामासाठी गेल्यानंतर दिव्या हातात वाटी घेऊन शाळेच्या दिशेने निघते.

अशाचप्रकारे एक दिवस शाळेच्या आतमध्ये आशेच्या नजरेने पाहणाऱ्या दिव्याचा फोटो वेंकट रेड्डी यांनी पाहिला. मुलींच्या अधिकारासाठी लढणाऱ्या एमव्ही फाउंडेशन या एनजीओमध्ये ते काम करतात. रेड्डी यांनी त्या वृत्तपत्राची एक क्लिप सोशल मीडियावर शेअर केली. त्यासोबत, “ही मुलगी तिच्या हक्काचं शिक्षण घेऊ शकत नाही, तिला खायलाही मिळत नाहीये. एकीकडे देशातील प्रत्येक मुला-मुलीकडे ‘राईट टू एज्युकेशन’ असतानाही दिव्यासारख्या मुलांना वर्गाबाहेर उभं राहून आपल्या हक्काच्या गोष्टी देखील केवळ दूरवरुन पाहाव्या लागतात”, अशी पोस्ट केली. यानंतर रेड्डी यांनी एनजीओतील इतर लोकांशी संपर्क साधला आणि दिव्याला त्याच शाळेत प्रवेश मिळवून दिला. काही वेळानंतर वेंकट यांनी अजून एक फोटो शेअर केला. त्यात दिव्या आपल्या आई-वडिलांसह , शाळेच्या इतर शिक्षकांसोबत उभी असलेली दिसते. विशेष म्हणजे या फोटोमध्ये दिव्या शाळेच्या गणवेशात आहे.

News Verification: The whole incident is from a government school in Andhra Pradesh, where a girl stood outside the government school, just in order to get some food to eat. Later someone not only provided food to the girl but also made her admission to the school.

The incident is from Deval Jham Singh high school and the name of the girl in the picture is Divya. She does not study in school, but she comes every day to get some food from the mid-day school meals. So that she can have some food. Her father mother lives in a small hut near the government school.

A NGO M.V.Foundation, shared the clip of the girl on social media. The MV foundation NGO made sure the girl gets admission in the school and gets her mid-day meal and education both. The NGO wrote on Facebook, “Divya exercised her constitutional right to be in school.
