सोशल मीडिया सेल ने एक ट्वीट कर इस मामले की सत्यता से इनकार किया है. ट्वीट में सहारनपुर पुलिस की सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म पर प्रकाशित की जा रही खबर क्वॉरंटीन किये गये जमातियों ने नॉनवेज खाना (Non-veg Food) न मिलने पर किया जमकर हंगामा, जमातियों ने खुले में ही कर डाली शौच' की सत्यता की जांच व आवश्यक कार्यवाही करने हेतु थाना प्रभारी रामपुर मनिहारान को निर्देश दिये गये थे, जिनके द्वारा जांच की गई तो जांच में विभिन्न समाचार पत्रों, न्यूज चैनलों एवं सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म (Social Media Platform) पर प्रकाशित की जा रही उक्त खबर पूर्ण रूप से गलत एवं असत्य पायी गई हैं. अत: सहारनपुर पुलिस उक्त प्रकाशित खबर का पूर्णत: खण्डन करती हैं
