News Verification: The above message that was recently viral on social media is not true.  Apart from India, Certain countries across the globe have announced free Covid-19 vaccination for all citizens, countries like Japan, US, the UK, France, and China are providing free vaccination to all.

1. Japan

Japan will give free coronavirus vaccines to all of its residents under a bill 

2. France

French Prime Minister Jean Castex said earlier it was "a matter of weeks" before the country will start rolling out COVID-19 vaccinations and that they will be free for all. 

3. America

US President-Elect Joe Biden had pledged during the presidential election in the November 3 election, he will ensure free COVID-19 vaccination for all Americans, Once elected laying out his pandemic response plan just days before the US presidential polls."Once we have a safe and effective vaccine, it has to be free to everyone, whether or not you're insured," Joe Biden had said in October.

4. Norway

Norway will provide a vaccine against Covid-19 free of charge to its inhabitants when one becomes available, the government had said in October 2020, and this would become part of the country's national vaccination programme.

5. India

On October 25, Union minister Pratap Sarangi said that all people of the country will be given free Covid -19 vaccine.

6. China:

As per the information available on China’s National Health Commission, COVID-19 vaccines will be provided free of charge to all Chinese people.

7. Brazil, Russia & Saudi Arabia

Multiple news agencies have reported that even Brazil, Russia & Saudi Arabia governments are providing free vaccines to their citizens.
