News Verification: The video labelled as that of Koyna Dam from Maharashtra is not true. The dam is located in China. Recently rain and floods have created havoc in Maharashtra. Over 200 lives were lost.
The video of the dam shared on social media is not from India and was also a 3-year-old video. It is the Xiaolangdi dam built on the Yellow River in Jiyuan city in the northwestern Henan province in China.
