TRUTH & Verification: During the Corona era lockdown or Unlock-1, many types of fake news and false rumors are being spread on social media. Even fake account numbers and fake website links were being run with regard to Pradhan Mantri Dhan Laxmi Yojana 2020 

The claim states that poor and middle-class women of the country can take advantage of this scheme of the government. In the claim being made on social media, it is also being told that the bank account of the applicant should be in a nationalized bank for the funds given by the government. Numbers and email IDs are also given to contact the claim made on social media.

It has been clearly stated in the PIB Fact Check that this claim is false. The central government has no such plan. Let us tell you that the PIB (Press Information Bureau) is the main agency to inform the newspapers and electronic media about the policies, program initiatives, and achievements of the Government of India.
