Facts Check: False

News Verification: The Fake information has been shared by more than 10k over the social media by different groups and users. The blood stained Imam can be seen in blood while sitting calmly.

There are many things wrong about the viral post.

1. Firstly the person in the picture is not a Imam of a mosque.
2. Second his name is Maulana Mukim and not Hafiz adnan.

As reported by thequint, While the incident did happen on 28 October wherein Maulana Mukim of Lucknow's Jail Road mosque was attacked, however police has denied any communal angle to the incident.

As per the quint the incident happenied at around 11 pm -11:15PM and there was one person involved in the incident. Maulana Mukim was attacked by sharp weapon.

As per thequint it was a case of robbery and the accused person Suraj, has already been arrested, there is no communal angle to the incident. 

It is absolutely no case of communal violence as the attaker was with a moth a motive of robbery. Communal violence is a form of violence that is perpetrated across ethnic o rcommunal lines, the violent parties feel solidarity for their respective groups, and victims are chosen based upon group membership.
