TRUTH & Verification: The image of a map showing America's Favorite Fast-Food restaurants is viral on social media, since June 2020.
The image has been re-tweeted and liked by over 30,000 on twitter. Looking at the picture, many users complained about the infographics present in the picture and said the information might not be true.
The picture shows America’s different fast food brands like IN-N-OUT, Denny’s, Mcdonalds, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Taco Bell, Tim Hortons, WHATABURGER, CHUCK E. CHEESE, Jollibee, Blimpie, Melly’s, SUBWAY, KFC and lots other brands.
Going by the map, it says America’s Favourite Food Chains, based on 2020 data from the public information and statistics society. This clearly mentions that the information is not from some government sources or agencies.
Users on social media contradicted these claims as well.
One tweet said, “I refuse to believe Rainforest Cafe is Colorado's favorite food chain, we don't even have one ffs. But even more unbelievable is Chuck-e-Cheese holding down 3 states.”
