New Delhi, cashless money: In order to promote and lure more people to opt for this cashless transaction discount is being proposed on petrol and diesel.

As per Indian Oil Corp statement “The discount will be credited to customer’s account by way of ‘cash back’ within maximum three working days,” Not Bad to support cashless transaction.

The Indian government on last Thursday had asked the state-run oil companies to offer a 0.75% discount on the price of petrol and diesel to consumers paying by cards or mobile wallets to push people towards digital payments

From today onwards 0.75 per cent discount on payments made using either credit/debit cards, e-wallets or mobile wallets will translate into a rebate of 49 paisa a litre on petrol and 41 paisa on diesel.

The present Petrol Price In New Delhi is Rs 66.10 per, while a litre of diesel costs Rs 54.57.
