Coca Cola, Pepsi HIV Aids – The below message has been circulated on social media from a long time:

Hoax message 1:

Important message....for d next few days, do not drink any product from Pepsi company like pepsi, tropicana juice, slice, 7up , coca cola, etc,,as a worker from the company has added his blood contaminated with HIV. watch NDtv ...please 4ward this 2 every 1 u care about.....please spread!

Hoax message 2:

Note : दिल्ली पुलिस कि तरफ से ये मेसेज पूरी इंडिया को है।आगे के कुछ हफ़्तों के लिए कृपया Coca cola या Pepsi कोई भी पिने वाली चीज़ जो मार्केट में मिल रही है उसे न पिये, क्यूंकि इसमें वहाँ के किसी वर्कर ने इसमें अपना HIV का ब्लड मिला दिया है जो कि कल NDTV पर दिखाया गया है। कृपया इसे अपने सभी फ्रेंड्स और रिलेटिव्स को फॉरवर्ड करें जिससे ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों को इसकी जानकारी हो। प्लीज देखते ही शेयर करे

Hoax message 3:

URGENT!!!!!! ALERT!!! Please DO NOT DRINK any PEPSI SODA, a worker from the company has put blood CONTAMINATED with AIDS inside the BOTTELS!!! Please forward this!! No jokes NOT taking any chances.... Check the news

 

All these messages were circulated in year 2011, 2013 and 2017. As these messages keep on circulating online almost each year, so it is baseless. Usually it is circulated using social media sites and emails.

Our conclusion – If we study the HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), then we will come to know that the HIV can be transmitted through contact with infected blood, semen or vaginal fluids.

So, this rumour is highly illogical and baseless.  It’s just created to confuse people and get page hits.
