Chiranjeevi son in trouble

HYDERABAD: Actor and Union minister Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja was embroiled in a  street brawl on Sunday. The actor's bodyguards beaten up  a software engineer for not giving way to his Aston Martin on the busy Road Number 1, Banjara Hills on Sunday afternoon. No complain was lodge against him,yet police says both decided not to pursue any case.

According to police, Ram Charan's Aston Martin V8 Vantage was 'obstructed' near GVK Mall rotary by a Maruti Alto in which software engineers Phaneesh of Kondapur and Kalyan of Uppal were travelling. The techies, employees of Genpact, were heading to Punjagutta from Kondapur in Kalyan's Alto.

Ram Charan Teja was furious with the techies for not giving him way despite honking several times. As soon as he got a small passage, the actor steered past the Alto and intercepted it near the rotary opposite GVK Mall. As the vehicles were parked to the extreme left of the road, traffic was not affected on the busy road.

"We heard the driver of the luxury car behind us honking, but due to traffic congestion, Kalyan could not give way. A minute later, the other vehicle overtook us and blocked our way," Phaneesh told media personnel before entering the Banjara Hills police station.

When the spor ts car driver rolled down the window glass, the techies realised that it was Ram Charan Teja. "The actor had an argument with us thinking that we deliberately blocked his way. While we were explaining to him that we had not done it deliberately, Ram Charan called up his bodyguards over the phone. Within a few minutes, four of them arrived at the spot in a vehicle and one of them punched me in the face," Phaneesh said.
