Movie Review, Dear Zindagi: Lakhs and lakhs  of people suffer from different form of depression, it can be from hell lot of things. Depression can just start out of fear, loosing friendship, love and loved ones. It can start out of nothing.

for a large population in india, the percent of a psychiatrists is even low and to get one with a correct profile, who can suet to you is even tough.

This is what Dr Jehangir Khan aka Jug (Shah Rukh Khan), plays in the movie, he is a psychiatrists. A short  but crispy role for the india’s best actor. A doctor,  whom someone  calls "Jug", a doctor who breaks the rules with his indoor and outdoor sessions to heal his patient Kaira (Alia Bhatt). A doctor who offers insane example to make her understand life, to make her feel good.

Kaira is in and out of her relation and Jug analogy is trying out a new boyfriend is like trying out a new chair.

Dear Zindagi possesses the heart and spirit of a small, it has all the ingredients to make you feel really life is like a cake and it can be beautiful

This is a film that the entire team, notably writer-director Gauri Shinde, cinematographer Laxman Utekar, film editor Haimanti Sarkar and sound designer Debashis Mishra, can be proud of without a shred of doubt.

Dear Zindagi is beautifully written, delectably crafted and superbly acted. However, The film is too verbose. Just too many dialogues, too many philosophy and you have no option but listen this for the while time f the movie.

Kaira has major issues with her Goa-based parents who cannot figure out exactly what the girl is up to in Mumbai.

Dear Zindagi is as good as, if not better than, all the Hindi films with female 'heroes' that we have seen in recent months.

On the flip side, Dear Zindagi, soft at most times.

SRK's introduction scene is too late and it comes after 50 minutes into the film.

 A career therapist sharing with a conference of mental health experts what the world at large thinks about a dimaag ka doctor is a bit out of place in this movie.

Also, the scene in which an uncle wants to know if Kaira is "Lebanese", meaning lesbian, only to be quickly corrected by his wife seems somewhat forced.

But these are minor irritants in a film that flies from the very outset, thanks to a dazzlingly good pivotal performance from Alia.

They are emotional and psychological. Alia makes the adjustments and moves across a range of emotions with breathtaking precision. This performance is undoubtedly her best yet.

Shahrukh serves as the perfect foil, stepping into the spotlight only occasionally, letting Alia do most of the hard work that is needed to make this thin storyline gather momentum as well as depth.

In a longesr scene in which Kaira breaks down and weeps inconsolably, Shahrukh has only a few reaction shots. The expressions that flash across his face as he waits for the girl get the load off her chest is pure gold.

Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Ali Zafar and Aditya Roy Kapoor have some small roles as cameo.

Coming back to Dear Zindagi movie review, the movie we can really give our advice as a must watch movie and cannot be avoided,

especially to see the superb performances of Alia and Shah Rukh Khan.
