New Delhi: B-town seems to be treading on the heels of making films based on real life of sports personalities, which they found striking the right chord with the audience.
One such biopic which is doing rounds in the headline is of ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film is slated to release on September 30.
In Neeraj Pandey's directorial, actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen essaying the role of Dhoni. this might come as a shock to many, the Captain cool had asked for Rs. 80 crore from the director to make a movie on his life, reported by Mid-day.com.
The movie trailer has already received tremendous user views of more then 1.7 crore.

According to the media reports, he was paid Rs. 20 crore as soon as he gave green signal to go ahead with the movie. BCCI reportedly demanded Rs. 15 crores for the footages of Dhoni’s cricket matches but the filmmakers have refused to pay such a huge amount.
