Nothing from the first version of the movie Kahaani, which came in 2012 matches in this second kahaani version, also known as Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh
All the actors accept the, actress Vidya and the story as well is totally different, so go and enjoy another good movie from Vidya Balan.

The initial 10 minutes of the movie will be give you a quick jerk, like hit by a car and exactly same things happens in the movie, which makes the movie worth to watch at least till the first half, after that the story doesn’t gives any chill. I can surely say that this movie has one of the best first half of the movie, can be surely watched.
Kahaani 2 Story and review:
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, throws Balan in front of a speeding vehicle and Vidya Balan slips into a coma after being knocked down by a taxi while rushing to save her crippled daughter who has been kidnapped.
Vidya Sinha (Balan), is a middle-aged single mother living with her daughter Mini in Chandannagar, in the outskirts of Kolkata. The story follows with Inderjeet Singh (Arjun Rampal) who investigates into the case of Vidya Balan. However the first part of the movie is too good. Jugal Hansraj and Amba Sanyal, have key supporting roles and Arjun Rampal is in very good form as a world-weary
Seconds after interval, Kahaani 2, which ranges to movement to different places from Kalimpong to Chandan Nagar to Kolkata, becomes a different film, then what you see in the first part, mixing Teen, and Hollywood Kill Bill.
However, there is no major releases this week, to give competition to Kahaani 2, looks like it will be another hit by Vidya Balan
