New Delhi: Once again, the Modi government has made a big announcement for the common man. Central Government, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has told that the government will sell LED bulbs, LED tube lights and 5 star ceiling fans at petrol pumps in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.
Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan said that under this scheme, the government will be distributing it in the first phase through the petrol pumps of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The government has announced to give the LED bulb 70, LED tube light 220 rupees and 5 star ceiling fan for Rs. 1200.
There will be arrangement for selling LED bulbs in about 55000 petrol pumps of both the states. The aim of the government is to reduce the import of 10 percent of energy by 75 years of independence. Dharmendra Pradhan said that in the 3 to 6 months this energy saving goods will be sold in all the petrol pumps in the country, so we expect from all three oil marketing companies and ESLL.
Along with this, the Petroleum Minister said that the public medical store will be with the petrol pump and arrangements will be made to make the petrol pump a center of public convenience. With this, Energy Minister Piyush Goyal said that the Modi government is different from other previous governments, that the difference between the departments of various ministries is being worked out by building this bridge between them.
