Narendra Modi, BHIM App, Dec 30: In the name of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi yet took another initiative, He launched Bhim app which will make digital transactions easy for the common man. The app is named after Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar and it will only require the thumbprint to operate.
The Pm Modi was speaking at the Digi Dhan Mela at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi, Said Dr Ambedkar was also a great economist and hence this App in his name.
The PM focus was the poor people of India; he said “Prizes are given to those who make transactions of more than Rs 50 and less than Rs 3,000, so that the poor can win. Technology is not the treasure of the wealthy, but power given to the poor”
The PM Modi, also talked of Lucky Grahak Yojana and DigiDhan Vyapar Yojana which was launched on December 25 on Christmas, Christmas gift to the nation India. The Central Government announced schemes to reward the small traders and customers using digital mode of payments.
Prizes will be given to those who make transactions of more than Rs 50 and less than Rs 3,000, so that the poor can win. Several families will be given the prizes, Over the 100 day period. These schemes were launched to benefit poor and there shall be a mega draw on 14th April, the birth anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar," said Modi.
Pushing harder for the cashless economy where more digital payments are done the Prime Minister said that the illiterate people can use a thumb to access their banks by the BHIM App.

In two weeks, payment by the use of biometric fingerprint will start in India.
Taking a dig at opposition he said, "For people who are upset with this decision, I don’t have anything to offer. But for those who are positive, I have an opportunity for them."
"Earlier, people used to talk about the amount of money lost in 2G scam and Coalgate scam, but now people are talking about how much money we are retrieving." said Modi directly hitting the congress Party.
He said that 125 crore people in the country came forward on their own to end our own corruption, to fight against our own evils.
