Delhi Crime! Bihar woman raped and robbed in moving train
New Delhi, Crime: There looks to be no improvement in the safety of women still in New Delhi. Another incident of rape and robbery have come up from a moving train, running between Shahdara and Old Delhi railway stations on Saturday.
The woman was coming to Delhi to attend a family function, she is from bihar.
As per the reports in ToI, five women were travelling in the ladies coach and four of them later deboarded the train at Shahdara railway station.
Three men boarded At Shahdara in the ladies coach. Two men robbed the lonely lady in the train's compartment and fled with her bag, while the third man allegedly raped her and even beat her up, the police said.
Later, two constables boarded the train and saw the man trying to sexually assault the woman who was also trying to resist him.
When the train reached Old Delhi Railway Station, the man and the woman were taken to the hospital.
The accused is identified as Shahbaz (25) was arrested and a case was registered against him under the relevant sections of law.
