Jama Masjid Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari urges Muslims to vote BSP
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Syed Ahmed Bukhari: The Jama Masjid Imam, Syed Ahmed Bukhari on Thursday 9th Feb urged the Muslim community of UP to boycott the Samajwadi Party in the upcoming state assembly polls teach them lesion and vote for the BSP Party.
As per Syed Ahmed, Samajwadi Party bad time for the Muslims in Uttar Pradesh is because of SP, be it the constant break out of riots or discrimination in the job sector, He said that the Bahujan Samaj Party can be a better contender this time.
He lashed out at the Samajwadi Party (SP) for having gone back on its word and said SP must be taught a lesson so that other political parties may think twice from doing the same.
Bukhari said, in 2012, they had a good discussion with the Samajwadi Party (SP) regarding Muslim issues, including security, un-employment, education and on various other issues.
It was agreed that as soon as the SP wins the election, they would start to implement whatever discussion was done but nothing was done. He said he would personally convey Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav of the complaints from the Muslim community that they are not safe anywhere.
He said the educated people are forced to run e-rickshaws, but the Chief Minister is far from taking notice.
He further said that the Muslim community is remembered only at the time of votes.
Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari, his son-in-law Umar Ali Khan was a MLC of SP who resigned on the directive of Ahmed Bukhari after he accused Mulayam Singh Yadav that the SP government did nothing for Muslims.
