Jammu and Kashmir Army foils terrorist attack kills 5


The security threat started in the morning, early in the morning, terrorists stormed into a private building at Jehangir Mahal adjoining Army’s brigade headquarter at Allah Peer in Poonch town, killing one police constable and injuring three others.  The attack took place at around 7:50 am in the morning, sources said.

Later In a separate incident, a policeman was killed and two persons, including an officer, were injured in an ongoing gunfight between security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, officials said. Police said the militants started firing from an under construction mini secretariat building near the Army's 93 Brigade headquarters in Poonch town around 8 am.
