Jammu and Kasmir URI attack, Militants attack Indian army brigade headquarters
India, Srinagar: This has been a biggest militant attack on the indian soldiars my pakistan militants killing our 17 soldiars. Militants attacked an Indian army brigade headquarters, in baramula near URI with Heavily armed and stormed a battalion headquarters of the Army in North Kashmir's Uri town in the wee hours on Sunday, killing 17 soldiers and injuring 19 other personnel in the terror strike in which four ultras were neutralized.
Seventeen soldiers and four militants were killed on Sunday during an attack on an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri town, while many injured were airlifted to an army hospital in Srinagar. Combing operations is now in progress.

Colonel SD Goswami, spokesman of the army's Udhampur headquartered Northern Command, told IANS, "Four terrorists who had entered the rear base camp of an infantry battalion in Uri town were killed," adding "search operation was continuing inside the camp".
New Delhi, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh have reportedly cancelled his 5 days, visit to Russia and the US. He has called for a high-level meeting on Sunday to discuss the situation is Kashmir.
