Police stations functioning like SP offices criminals jails: Modi
Khushipur, Uttar Pradesh, Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in Khushipur, Uttar Pradesh. During his address Modi started his address by remembering Lal Bahadur Shastri. “Fortunate that I was raised on the land where Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel were born”, he said. “Inspired by ideals of Gandhi ji & Sardar Patel, we are working for welfare of people of this country, he further added.
PM Modi remarked that poor have a right to roof over their heads and the Government at the centre is committed to achieve this dream. “My dream is that every poor of this country should have roof over his head by 2002,” said PM Modi.
PM talked about the welfare of farmers and the various schemes the government has launched benefiting the farmers. He spoke about, soil health card scheme, irrigation, neem-coating of urea and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and said these are aimed at benefiting farmers. “We have brought the Soil Health Card. We are training our farmers with scientific methods of farming,” he added. “UP government is anti-farmer. Why is it that farmers don't benefit from the Fasal Bima Yojana? Why they don't help farmers in distress.,” he further added.
Modi opined that we want to work for the empowerment of poor and said, “Being raised in a poor family, am aware of the hardships they face. We would take every step that uplifts them,” he added. Modi said that his government wants rural India to be smoke-free. We want them to have access to clean fuel. We have provided 55 lakh LPG connections in Uttar Pradesh so far said PM Modi. “We want poor households to have access to clean fuel. We aim to provide 5 crore families with LPG connections in 3 years,” he said.
Modi further mentioned that govt has eliminated interviews for jobs for grade 3 & 4 to reduce corruption, We eliminated interview processes for class 3, 4 jobs. This reduced corruption. “We asked Uttar Pradesh govt to implement it, but they did not,” said PM Modi. PM attacked the Samajwadi Government and said that the state government encouraging corruption and discrimination in the state.
PM Modi questioned the present SP government about the law and order situation in the state. He said the women in UP do not feel safe. He remarked that the women are scared to come out of their houses alone even during the daytime. He added, "Law and order situation is improper in UP and the state government is not doing anything to improve it. Police stations are functioning like SP offices, criminals are committing crimes sitting in jails."
Modi urged people to Vote for BJP and change the government for development of Uttar Pradesh. “It is time to free Uttar Pradesh from misrule of SP, BSP & Congress. It is time to think about welfare of our youth so they prosper,” concluded PM Modi.
