Punjab Polls 2017: Amarinder singh have sent a letter to Election Commission, EC asking to sent back the aap volunteers from outside state.
Citing law and order problem, he asked the Election Commission (EC) to send back AAP volunteers who had come from another state.
Amarinder said he had written to the Election Commission to take have the knowledge of the fact that AAP had inducted above 27,000 Punjabi-origin people settled elsewhere and including foreign nationals, and 40,000 volunteers from other states to campaign for their candidates for assembly polls.
As per the Election Commission of India guidelines, outsiders cannot stay in state for elections on the appointed dates and are supposed to leave the state 48 hours before the polling.
