Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi: Not a single media made a communal point out of the demonetisation, the entire country was united in the name of money and the problem they are facing due to lack of money. The AIMIMM chief has given a religious twist in this demonetisation scheme.

As per the AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi Rs 500 and 1,000 rupee notes are not being disbursed in Minority-dominated areas and no one gets loan.

He says the Government of India don’t open banks in the Muslim dominated areas and if opens puts it under red zones. If they set up ATM’s then no cash is available

However he did not provide any evidence to support for his statement.

Mukthar said “earlier the political parties first made the demonetisation scheme as political and now they are making it as religious issue”, ATM’s don’t see religion before dispensing money.

Further alleging PM Modi of destroying the livelihood of the poor and deprived sections. "Will a fakir wear Rs 15 lakh suit? What kind of fakir you are who wears new clothes and new shawl with new style every day, who wants to inconvenience the poor for 50 days and who is not worried over the loss of 120 lives. You are not fakir, you are zalim (tyrant)," said Owaisi.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, questioned the safety aspect of Digital India initiative after hacker attacks. "Government says go digital and promises us it is safe. If it's so safe, how are journalists bank account details being made public for millions by hackers? Digital India stands exposed, Modi babu," she tweeted. On the show, we debate: just over a month on of demonetisation, is it still advantage BJP? And is the Opposition failing to wrest the narrative from the government?
