Maharashtra wants a ban on the lifting of Ban on Animal sports, it wants the bullock cart race in Maharashtra and Karnataka wants 'Kambala', a buffalo race in Karnataka.

In all this there is a dangerous comparison and to human life and now The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) supremo Asaduddin Owaisi has wants the people to fight for Triple Talaq in the same way like Tamilians fought for Jallikattu.

He said the Jallikattu Protest lesion for hindutva forces

The Muslim society has their own culture and we should be allowed to marry the way we want, said the AIMIM president.

Why the Reaction now

“Gender equality and dignity of women are non-negotiable Constitutional values and that religious practices cannot be an impediment to rights”, Modi said this last year to the Supreme Court

“Is it fair for a man to say 'talaq' thrice over the phone and a Muslim woman's life to be ruined” Modi had raised this issue over a public meeting.

"The comparison is completely weird as in triple talaq case, The muslim women went to Supreme Court, SC pleading for justice. As per the survey, more than 92 per cent of Muslim women have voted for the abolishment of triple talaq.", said GVL Narasimha Rao from BJP

Earlier, Owaisi slammed the Uniform Civil Code saying. "India cannot have a uniform civil code”. He had further accused the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for interfering in the matter of Muslims."

He added, "Jallikattu protests, lesson for Hindutva forces". He further tweeted, "Uniform Civil Code cannot be imposed".
