Yogi questions the secular who spoke on Delhi University and JNU earlier
Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath said in a reception organized by BJP's ally All India Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Sunday night, "Why are the people silent on this incident (Beef Fest) that spoke on the events of Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University earlier?"
He said that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has been coming out on every conspiracy in the country. Nationalism has been the basic tradition of this country and ABVP has adopted it from the very beginning.
Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath questioned the parties who call themselves secular, after at the beef party in Kerala. He raised the question that where are the people who have been involved in JNU and DU cases?
It should be known that Yogi Adityanath had stopped all the slaughterhouses being run illegally while strictly prohibiting cow slaughtering when coming to power on March 19, 2017.
Beef fest was organized in Kerala in protest against the ban on the Central Government. A Youth Congress worker and his colleagues had allegedly killed a calf in Kannur publicly. The Kerala Police later filed a lawsuit against Youth Morcha activists in Tahrir.
Congress suspended the three party workers
The Congress has suspended three workers of the Youth Congress wing who have been protesting this matter. An FIR has been registered against Youth Congress activists on the complaint of BJP workers. During the Youth Congress demonstration in protest against the Center's ban on sale to kill animals in slaughterhouses, the calf had allegedly been cut.
Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said that the calf-cutting workers have been suspended from the party. There is no place in Congress for such people.
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi tweeted on this incident that what happened in Kerala yesterday is totally unacceptable to me and completely unacceptable to me and the Congress party. I strongly condemn this incident.
