Delhi Health Department Covid cases, no death on 9 days

New Delhi: According to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi Health Department, 45 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Delhi on Sunday, taking the tally to 14,39,870. However, no Covid death has been recorded in the city in the last nine days. The total number of people who died of Covid in the city is 25,091. The national capital has recorded four deaths due to the infection so far this month. The mortality rate in the city is 1.74 percent.

The Covid infection rate in the national capital is 0.08 percent. The number of active cases in the national capital is 348. The health bulletin said that with the recovery of 46 patients in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries so far has increased to 14,14,431. At present, a total of 142 Covid patients are being treated in home isolation.

With a recovery rate of 98.23 percent, Delhi has a rate of 0.024 percent of active COVID cases. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, a total of 56,751 new tests- 46,468 were conducted through RT PCR and 10,283 through rapid antigen, taking the total number of tests to 2,94,27,753 now. At present, the number of containment zones in the city is 86.

In the last 24 hours, out of 79,014 vaccines, 29,571 people received the first dose and 49,443 people received the second dose. As per the health bulletin, the total number of beneficiaries vaccinated so far is 2,04,55,535.
