Friday open prayers, Govardhan Puja by Sanyukt Hindu Sangharsh Samiti
GURUGRAM: The Samyukta Hindu Sangharsh Samiti (SHSS) has announced that it will conduct Govardhan Puja in Sector 12 of Gurugram on November 5 to protest against Friday prayers in open areas of the city. On this occasion, the members of the organization will also distribute 'Annakoot Prasad'. This was announced at a press conference here on Sunday.

Sector-12 was the same place where the police arrested 30 members of Hindu organizations on October 29 for trying to disturb the Friday prayers.
SHSS Haryana State President Mahavir Bhardwaj while addressing the journalists said that the Namaz being held in public places in Gurugram should be stopped immediately. He has also told the Chief Minister that the district administration is misleading the government by showing the list of places designated for Friday prayers without any official's signature.

Bhardwaj has demanded the Haryana government to issue a notification banning any religious practice in public places in the state.
A few days ago, A five-member delegation of the Samyukt Hindu Sangharsh Samiti, Haryana, met the Deputy Commissioner Gurugram, Yash Garg on Tuesday and demanded action on the demand letter given by the organisation on October 4 regarding offering Friday prayer in public places over the last two months.
