Isha Ambani inducted into the Board of Trustees of the Smithsonian's National Museum of Art

Reliance Industries owner Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani has been inducted into the board of trustees of the Smithsonian National Museum of Art. Along with Isha, the names of Caroline Breeham and Peter Kimmelyan have also been announced as the new trustees of the board.

Approving these new appointments, the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian National Museum of Art has said that all these appointments were made on 23 September 2021, which will last for four years. 

Let us tell you that the 17-member board of the Smithsonian National Museum of Art also includes the Chief Justice of America and the US Vice President.

The board consists of three members from the US Senate and three members from the United States House of Representatives. In addition to the new appointments, the term of board chairman Antoine van Agweil has also been extended until 2023.

The Smithsonian's National Museum of Art is a world-renowned museum that opened its doors in 1923. Its international achievement is that the world's artistic heritage, art and literature have been preserved here.
