Punjab: New ministers will take oath today, 8 ministers will return; 7 new faces will get space
Chandigarh: The cabinet expansion of the Punjab government will happen today (on Sunday) at 4.30 pm. Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit has given evening time for the swearing-in of ministers. Yesterday (Saturday) Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi had met Governor Banwarilal Purohit.
These new faces got a place in the cabinet
According to information received from sources, Sangat Singh Giljia, Amarinder Singh Raja Wadding, Dr Rajkumar Verka, Pargat Singh, Kuljit Nagra, Gurkeerat Kotli and Rana Gurjit may get a place in the Punjab cabinet. All of them can be new faces in the Punjab cabinet.
Captain's 8 ministers will return
Let us tell you that Manpreet Badal, Brahm Mahindra, Sukhwinder Singh Sarkaria, Tript Rajinder Bajwa, Razia Sultan, Aruna Chaudhary, Vijender Singla and Bharat Bhushan Ashu can be made ministers again. All these MLAs were ministers in the government of former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
