Noida: Section 144 implemented till November 30, decision due to Diwali and other festivals

Noida: In view of the corona epidemic and upcoming festivals, the Gautam Budh Nagar district administration has decided to extend section 144 till November 30. In such a situation, the residents of the city will have to follow the proper rules. Additional Commissioner of Police, Law and Order Richa Pandey said, "In view of the festivals this month, it has been decided that Section 144 will remain in force in the district from October 31 to November 30." People will have to follow the corona rules, if any person is found to be negligent then action will be taken against him under 188.

In fact, apart from Diwali, this month includes festivals like Govardhan, Bhaiya Dooj, Chhath festival, Guru Nanak Jayanti etc. After the implementation of Section 144, no person should be in a public place without a mask and without social distancing. All activities except medical services and essential services will remain prohibited in the Containment Zone. At the same time, any kind of social, sports and entertainment etc. festival will not be allowed without permission.

The swimming pool will not be allowed to open. Whereas malls, hotels and restaurants should not have more than 50 per cent capacity. Apart from this, more than 100 persons are prohibited in the marriage ceremony. In 3 wheeler and auto-rickshaw, maximum 2 passengers will be allowed with the driver, in e rickshaw 3 persons including driver and in 4 wheeler only 4 persons will be allowed.

No person shall protest or take out processions without permission.
