PM Modi arrives in America on a 3-day tour, will meet VP Kamala Harris today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for America's visit on Wednesday and reached Washington at around 3.30 am Indian time. During this important visit, Prime Minister Modi will take part in many important programs.

After reaching America, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Grateful to the Indian community in Washington DC for the warm welcome. Our diaspora is our strength. It is commendable how the Indian diaspora has distinguished itself across the world.”

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at the Joint Base Andrews in Washington, a large number of Indians present there gave a rousing welcome by waving the tricolour. People were shouting Modi-Modi. From the airbase, PM Modi's team will go to Hotel Willard on Pennsylvania Avenue.

 

Posted a photo while travelling

Before reaching the US, the PM posted a picture inside the plane in which he is reading some important files. Posting a picture of himself, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote, 'Long flight means an opportunity to go through papers and some file work.' During his stay in America, PM Modi will participate in bilateral talks, Quad conference with US President Joe Biden as well as give a speech at UNGA.

 

PM Modi's program today

This is the first visit of PM Modi to America in two years, in which the power there also changed. PM Modi will hold the first personal bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden at the White House tomorrow, which will be followed by the Quad Leaders Summit.

PM Modi will meet the CEOs of five big companies – Qualcomm, Adobe, First Solar, General Atomics and Blackstone on Thursday. After this, he will meet Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison at the Willard Hotel at around 11 o'clock (IST).

After this, PM Modi will leave for the Eisenhower Executive Office to meet US Vice President Kamala Harris at around 12:30 (IST). On Saturday, PM Modi will address the 76th session of the UNGA. 

Ahead of his visit to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "During my visit to the US from September 22-25, I will review the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership with President Joe Biden and exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest. I will share.'

Giving information about the US tour, PM Modi said that he will also meet President Biden, Australian PM Scott Morrison and Japan's PM Yoshihide Suga. About the Quad Summit, PM Modi said, "It provides an opportunity to identify priorities for the future based on a shared vision for the Indo-Pacific region."
