The tremendous explosion shook the 6-storey building. It is not yet clear whether the blast was a bomb blast or a cylinder burst. But the way the explosion took place, it does not seem to be a blast of the cylinder. It is suspected that there is some conspiracy behind this, whose intention is to spread fear and panic.
The blast in the court premises has also raised questions about the security system. With this, assembly elections are to be held in Punjab next year; this blast can become an issue in the elections and also a reason for tension before that. This blast can also be an attempt to spoil the atmosphere before the assembly elections in Punjab.
