India: At Jawaharlal University, JNU there was a lot of protest outside the university after the violence which occurred inside the Periyar hostel on Sunday. On social media, people were appealed to reach the spot to register their protest, after which a large number of people gathered at the place of incident. After the incident, hundreds of people registered their presence outside JNU. Meanwhile, many media persons also reached there to report. But, at the same time, a reporter Piyush Mishra, of republic TV was misbehaved and abused by the JNU protestors.

Releasing the video of his reporting on social media, Piyush grabbed the attention of himself on social media. He wrote on his tweet, "This is how a JNU protestor misbehaved, abused and heckled me while I was reporting outside JNU and that also in presence of massive @DelhiPolice personnel. No police personnel stopped these goons. Expect an unexpected condemnation by @IndEditorsGuild #JNUViolence”

Pishush tagged the Editors Guild of India on the misconduct with him and wrote that he expected unexpected condemnation from the Editors Guild of India.

It should be mentioned here that on the social media, the people of the Left, see the Republic TV as a channel praising the central government. Thus, seeing the reporter of this channel, the JNU protesters clearly asked Piyush to go away and misbehaved with him
