Users question Rahul Gandhi as why no word on Bangladesh, calling Muslims brothers and Hindu Dhongi

India: The Tripura Police has rubbished the claims of arson and vandalism at a mosque in the state's Panisagar district as false. The police have clarified that the pictures and videos being shared on social media in this regard have nothing to do with the incident in the state.

Despite police issuing a clarification, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted on the issue and said, "Our Muslim brothers are being brutalized in Tripura. Those who do hatred and violence in the name of Hindus are not Hindus, they are hypocrites. How long will the government keep pretending to be blind and deaf?"

BJP leader Kapil Mishra took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi and wrote, "Why tweet only for Muslims? Why not for all religions? Did you drink Fevicol on Bangladesh? on Kashmir? On Lakhbir? Tripura Police is saying nothing happened and you started spreading lies all over the country. Why doesn't anyone in the Congress party ever write 'Our Hindu Bhai'?"

Suraj tweeted, Use of the word 'brothers' with Muslims and 'dhongi' with Hindus

At the same time, a user commented on this and wrote, "Even as the grandson of Firoz Khan, you never remember Firoz Jahangir Khan."

Shivam Vishwakarma wrote, "Only Muslims are brothers, the rest of the Hindus are your enemies. Anti-Hindu Rahul Gandhi ji."
