All madrasas are from Darul Uloom Asha Diya Gausia Madaris Anwarganj, Madarsa coolie Bazar, Darul Uloom Ghausia Ashrafia, and Hidayat Madrasa. These children had come in contact with some people who had returned from Markaz, Delhi. The administration and Health Department have confirmed this.

Children exposed to Tablighi Jamaat

Kanpur SP Anant Dev Tiwari said that after joining Nizamuddin Markaz of Delhi, some Jamati stayed in various mosques and madrasas of the Kanpur city. All these children came in contact with this Tablighi Jamaat, soon they were infected with the coronavirus. These children are under the age-group of 10 to 20 years

Hotspot locations to be sealed

SP said that we have sealed all the hot spot areas. These areas are being monitored by drones. Many students have come from outside to study in Madrasas. Information is being collected about everyone.

According to Kanpur CMO Ashok Shukla, children were examined from most madrasas, who were from madrasas in different places in Kanpur. Of these, 60 children have been found positive.
