Mumbai Police Helpline Number 9833312222 -  In March 2015, Mumbai Railway police had launched a unique service for help of women’s in Mumbai by providing helpline number 9833312222.

This number is available on WhatsApp and is exclusively for women’s in Mumbai. The women commuters can share their complaints, images and videos with Mumbai Police. This service will be available 24x7. The contents of this messages will be monitored online by Mumbai police control room.

The time this initiative was launched, Mumbai Railway Police Commissioner – Ravinder Singhal said that this idea is to be proactive and allow women commuter to come forward to complain if they come across whatever incongruous in their day to day life. He also said that it is real time solution for real time problems that women’s face daily.
