The 1098 child helpline number which has been around for at least decade being shared as Modi's revolutionary new scheme on WhatsApp. Sigh

Good News In India: As announced by PM Modi-If  you see a child begging, child Labour, child not getting admission in school, child abused,  lost or in any kind of  trouble Please don't hesitate to call 1098 (ANYWHERE IN INDIA ONLY) - child help line. They will come and take care of the child. Please circulate this message which can help many children. PLEASE DONT BREAK THIS CHAIN,

Ayupp Analysis – 1098 was Child helpline number a long time ago. It does not exist anymore. As per the Hindu this number 1098 was launched September 2011 for the people of Chennai. On 6th may 2014, one article was posted in the Hindustan Times that this number is frequently used by many people to do time pass and it is not being correctly used. Our current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took in charge of Government of India on 26th May 2014.

So this news is completely fake as it says that this initiative is taken by PM Modi. We also tried calling on this number that we got message that this number does not exist.

Hence we have termed this message as fake. However, we believe that such kind of helpline numbers should be present and we would suggest Prime Minister of India to initiate such initiative for the future generation of our country.
