Facts Check Analysis: A BJP minister and MP donate for Kerala flood relief and a image with the Kerala CM is going viral over the social media. The caption is accompanied with an image of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan accepting a Rs 25 crore cheque. The other people in the picture are, BJP MP V. Muraleedharan, Alphons Kannanthanam, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism and Pinarayi Vijayan.
The image in the picture and the money donated is not from the BJP ministers but by central petroleum public sector companies on August 21.

The central petroleum public sector companies have come together to donate `25 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as a helping hand to the state. On behalf of the industry, the cheque of `25 crore was handed over to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan by Alphons Kannanthanam, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism, in the presence of V Muraleedharan, Member of Parliament, Prasad K Panicker, Executive Director (Kochi Refinery), and representatives of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Hindusthan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
