Facts Check Analysis: Ever since the BJP government came in power, the opposition parties and many people in India have been contently raising the question of what happened to the Promise made by PM Modi, during the run of 2014 election.

In the run of 2014 general election the PM, it is said that PM Modi will deposit 15 lakh to each and every account holder in India.

A video from Kanker in Bastar, of PM Narendra Modi, Published on Nov 7, 2013.

Modi says a lots of black money is kept in abroad banks, He says, tell me, this stolen money should come back or not?

Doesn’t the public have a right over this money? Should this money not be utilised for the benefit of the public?” He goes ahead and hints and says that “If even once, the money which is kept in banks abroad and if we are able to bring  back the black money, every poor Indian would get
free of cost Rs 15 to Rs 20 lakhs, just like that
.”,

PM Modi clearly says that each India can get, however he never said that each Indian would be getting this 15Lakh into their account.

Even in the 2014 BJP’s election manifesto,, there was no mention of depositing Rs 15 lakh to any individual account. Read the below extract from the 2014, BJP’s election manifesto
