Translated: Swatantra Dev Singh has accused the National President, Akhilesh Yadav- These people used to live a luxurious life and had spent a 100 crores rupees in Ac and tiles of the bungalow which they took away. You see Mr. Rajnath Singh’s Bungalow. After all, why doesn’t the media show it? How it has been turned into ruins!

Facts Check Analysis: The Supreme Court, set aside a state government order that allowed them to stay on until their death, asking the former CM;s to vacate government residences within two months.  

Former CMs cannot stay on beyond 15 days, after their official tenure end’s in office, a bench, comprising Justices Anil R Dave, NV Ramana and R Banumathi, observed, while setting aside the state executive order. It came on a public interest litigation filed by NGO Lok Prahari.

The state government defended on the grounds of security, but the court was smart enough and asked the state to recover appropriate rent in cases of unauthorised stay.
